A near R rated parody of "Pamela". I also read "Clarissa" though it took me months to finish. I would read it for a while then set it down for two weeks. To me there is enough good writing in it to keep me going. Samuel Johnson loved it which made it a must read for me. I admit that I loved "Pamela" and will one day reread it.
